I'm so glad that you're interested in the dynamic playing out here, and while it's a strictly Roy POV piece (and no plans for a companion piece, sorry!), I think you'll get a better idea of what's going on in Ed's head a little later. Not the full picture, but maybe, hopefully, it will start to make more sense. Roy's sanity, however... I can't touch that one.
I know it's been ages since I updated, but I'm hoping to get back to Chapter 14- which had the biggest structural glitch that has ever been my misfortune to deal with- very soon, so that I can *finally* see this story through to completion. But for now- thank you so, so much for reading, and I hope you can forgive my dreadful response time.
