What was there to hate? Loved this. I loved the scene at the end where Roy came to an understanding about his obligation to Ed, noting that it had been done for him and now he would be doing likewise for Ed.
I really loved how Roy didn't have to sink into the despair of Ishbal in order to be with Ed. Should make the next time a little interesting. I am particularly curious about Roy's comment about not taking any more of Ed's innocence.
I, too, am glad that Roy did not leave first. Even though Ed has "issues," it is nice to know that Roy wasn't going to abandon Ed even in this manner.
