I know how difficult it can be when you've written something you're dissatisfied with. I'm not sure what you hated about it, because it was very good and definitely cohesive. It fit the storyline and wasn't extraneous or over the top or out of character, etc. Also /not/ tedious. ;D

I personally love the unique take on this story. Their 'relationship' is starting out due to Ed's demons, yet it's Roy's that we're seeing more of so far and I like that. It's very interesting.
