I have been sweating this chapter so bad. I really liked the first half of it, but the second half gave me fits. Ran my poor beta ragged, I think. She pointed out some serious issues it had, after I'd already rewritten it two or three times, and ugh- I'm sure you know how it goes. Some things just don't want to come out easily. So I'm so very relieved that it seems to be working. I do worry about keeping the flow believable and consistent.
And I feel badly for them as well. Especially since I'm a bitch, and things are going to start getting worse pretty soon. Roy's had it easy thus far.
Thanks so much for following the story, and for the kind comments. It makes me feel so good, knowing that it's affecting people. :D
